How long will it take for my website to be ready?
The setup and design process can take anywhere between one and four weeks. We will need the text information to be displayed on each page of your website. The quicker we get this information in a Word Document via email, the quicker your website can be completed.
Do I have a say in the design of my website?
Absolutely! Simply provide us with some examples of what you want your website to look like and we can put together a preliminary design. We can coordinate the site planning with you, through optional in-person meetings, conference calls, and Skype video conferencing.
I don’t have time for design. Can you just make it happen?
If you don’t have time or are not exactly sure what you want, but know that you need something good and professional, you can leave the design completely to us. You will be asked to approve the final design layout before we build your website.
Technical Questions
Can I update my own website or must I have knowledge of HTML code?
You can most definitely update and maintain your own website. No knowledge of HTML code is required. Website content can be easily updated via WordPress, the world’s #1 Content Management System (CMS). We will walk you through the basic steps of using the CMS. If you need help at any point in time after the initial CMS walk through, you can browse through our members-only WordPress Video Tutorials, or simply contact us via email or Skype live chat.
Do you offer web hosting or must I open my own web hosting account?
You are required to open a web hosting account with a preferred hosting provider. Once this is complete, we will then move forward with creating your website. We highly recommend going with Bluehost, the leading web hosting provider. Bluehost has the most user-friendly system to work with and is very compatible with the WordPress framework.
Are there any security features for my website?
We highly recommend purchasing a yearly subscription of Sucuri Security services for web-based integrity monitoring and malware detection/removal solutions. If your site gets hacked, blacklisted or infected with malware, Sucuri steps in to fix it for you. If your site is clean, they monitor it and take action if a problem ever occurs.
Pricing and Payment
Are prices listed one-time fees and are there any additional costs?
Package prices on our pricing page are initial one-time setup fees and are non-refundable once website design has begun. In addition to paying what we charge for our web design services, you will need to open a web hosting account which costs about $80 per year. If you also decide on securing your website with Sucuri Security, they charge $90 per year (well worth the investment).
Do you expect me to sign a long-term contract?
No, you will not be asked to sign any form of long-term contract. The only document you will be asked to sign is a detailed outline of the final design work to be completed, drafted by AMTG Solutions. This is done to ensure both parties are on the same page.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept credit cards, debit cards, and checks. All plastic card transactions are processed online via secure payment through PayPal.
